Robert, why don't you like "Jack Ruby by Garry Willis and Ovid Demaris"? I read that recently and found it very interesting. I also think the Aynesworth and Huffaker books might have some good background material, since they were both there in Dallas that weekend - regardless of their view...

I've been looking online to buy some Ruby books. Two on my list are by Seth Kantor: Who was Jack Ruby and The Ruby Cover-up. On one site it reckons The Cover-up one was previously published as Who was...Anyone know if that's true? I don't want to buy two copies of the same book.

I give up. I've had pennyworth on 'ignore' for ages, and only realised he'd started his mumblings again when Bob quoted him. I'm putting the silly old fart back on 'ignore'. It might give you some peace of mind if you did the same, J Snow. Only a suggestion
