Evidence: It depends on what the Meaning of "is" is

Obviously there is more than one type of evidence. For example there is: physical, circumstantial, hear-say, eye witness testimony, etc; all of which can be scientifically ranked in terms of importance and/or priority and reliability. Obviously, the idea is to interpret all of it by giving it the we...

Re: Where are the Truth-Seekers?

I would also add that as we go about the business of considering all the evidence available, we must accept the reality this will ultimately lead us to make judgement calls which "rules out" a piece or two of so called evidence that we've examined and weighed for reliability, and thus come...

Re: Where are the Truth-Seekers?

I have to admit that I have not read Doug Weldon's book either. Re: Keeping an eye on the windshield

As you should Jerry, which punctuates my point. However, at some point, as we go about the business of considering all the evidence available, we will ultimately have to make judgement calls that leads to the "ruling out" of a piece or two of so called evidence that we've now come to reali...

Re: Keeping an eye on the windshield

As I said in an earlier post on this very issue, anyone can see the logic of waiting to the last possible moment to take any shot from the front; but clearly, by this time they (particularly the Mob) were more than ready to take a shot from the front if that's what it took to finally get the job don...
