Will we ever know?

I enjoy reading most of the opinions expressed by the myriad of folks who post on this website. And, I really appreciate the information garnered by Wim in his book about Files. However, I was curious as to how many of those who frequent this website truly believe that the American public will ever ...

I may be missing something, but I did not know that Wim had Mr. Files' Fireball in his possession. Can someone please clarify this?

Stereo in the background?

Wim,

I've often wondered about the stereo record player that appears in the background of this picture. Did Mr. Files take a stereo to Dallas with him?

I don't think the typical motel room had record players as standard equipment. I'm not doubting the picture, just curious about this.

A sabot round is more than the tank round

A. A Sabot round (pronounced sah-bow') from the French for "shoe" is simply a cartridge that utilizes a smaller than bore diameter projectile held in a bore diameter sleeve. The use of this technique allows higher velocities than normal since the projectile is much lighter than the round's...

Lamplighter Motel

Wim, Have you or Zack Shelton ever checked out The Lamplighter Motel in Dallas, to see if by chance they still have the guest registers from 1963? The Lamplighter Motel is still in business, and is exactly where Mr. Files stated, on the east side of Dallas, almost in the Mesquite city limits. It wou...

Mr. Brychek, Your comments surprise me. I stated in my e-mail that I find Mr. Files' story to be very interesting. I would assume that you could tell from my remarks that I find Files to be credible. Why wouldn't I pass my regards on to a person that I find credible? In the south, that's the way we ...

The Raven's murder weapon

Mr. Brychek, Please give James Files my regards. As a retired federal agent, and current police officer in the southern US, I find his story to be very interesting. Do you know if the Raven's family still has the murder weapon with which Tippit was killed? If so, I will post more on this line of tho...

My thoughts on 11/22/1963

Since you asked, I'm happy to share my opinion, for what it's worth. I have always been skeptical of the WC findings. I was in high school when JFK was killed. I grew up target shooting, and knew enough about ballistics, even as a teenager, that the "magic bullet theory" always seemed ludi...
