Re: The Media
You know what they say, Joe: "the man may be the head of the house but the woman is the neck, & she can turn him which ever way she wants". I have also lost friends (and, I suspect, my last job) to this battle, but it rages on. I figure a friend so easily turned away is no friend, &...

Re: Pedro Diaz Lanz
It is rather unusual for a male to commit suicide by shooting himself in the chest. Men tend to shoot in the head. women tend to choose an overdose or shoot in the chest. Self-hanging seems to be more or less unisex. I forget where I read that. someone did a study once...

Re: Realize the significance of this?
This completly destroys the sbt. What are they gonna say now? "The bullet then exited the Governor's thigh, opened a temporal rift, & flew back through time to deposit itself on the (wrong) stretcher. Some magic bullet, that 399! One thing: the doc said left thigh. Which thigh was he hit in...

I've also been watching the oil surplus thing with some interest since it happened. Being a pizza delivery guy, it has my (almost) undivided attention. Could be a ploy to shore up approval ratings, or maybe the high mucky-mucks are worried about us unwashed serfs grabbing various pointed garden tool...

Shane- buy actual physical gold & silver - the purest you can get your hands on. Steer well clear of gold & silver stocks - paper is neither silver nor gold. The supply of paper stocks far outstrips the supply of precious metals they are supposed to represent, & one day a fair breeze wil...

I noticed Charlie Sheen recently got canned from the set of "2 & 1/2 men" Guess he hasn't yet rolled over & pee'd himself like bill did. Some few still have principles, I suppose.

Re: Breaking News: Bin Laden Is Dead
I think that depends on whether or not he had George's phone number on him at the time of his death... But seriously, Bush has no friends, only people he uses.I'm still not sure this guy is dead or if he's even real. Lot to be said for the theory that he's nothing more than an invention of the CIA...

Re: Breaking News: Bin Laden Is Dead
The whole thing smelled from the first announcement. I find myself in agreement with Mike Ellwood - terrorism is terrorism, which ever side engages in it. Killing this man without due process places us on a par with him, or even lower. This assumes that he even was OBL. It stinks of propaganda.

Re: Where are we?
IMO, The killing of a president isn't really in league with the other hits that Files carried out in his career. It would obviously carry a great deal of weight in his mind, claims to the contrary notwithstanding. I think it had to come out eventually. Files tendency toward bravado also can't be dis...
