Tom,

I was dismayed to read this also ..Led Zep are nearly my favorites for music listening ..I also like AC/DC...

I read that on the Led Zeppelin 1V album cover the old man carrying the twigs) is Aleister Crowley( I always wondered why that picture was on the cover )

Top Ten Of All Time....

Post by Pennyworth »

Top Ten Albums
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, The Beatles
Pet Sounds, The Beach Boys
Revolver, The Beatles
Highway 61 Revisited, Bob Dylan
Rubber Soul, The Beatles
What's Going On, Marvin Gaye
Exile on Main St., The Rolling Stones
London Calling, The Clash
Blonde on Blonde, Bob Dylan
The Beatles (The White Album), The Beatles

In my opinion, I would have taken Highway 61 to be the top..Also great ..Exile On Main Street over Sargeant Pepper (probably a nick name for Aleister )

While I agree Rock and Roll has its elements of "Satanism". However, I think that that particular theme (Rock being Satanic) came upon with John's Jesus statement. At that instant, the religous right went crazy all over the country. Burning Beatles Albums, holding protest rallies at department stores. If you look before Rock, Jazz was the devils music with its smooth rhythms and black stars. I don't think it is actually Satanic, just a thematic element that took on as a trend among rock stars. Sgt. Peppers is the best selling album of all time because of its revolutionary sound for the rock world. It was a huge change for the Beatles, and the rock world. While I find such connections to Crowley interesting, I don't think it bears significance to actual occult practices, and deception of the world.

i know this is going to come off as being really critical however i have to make this comment. I believe posts like this should not be allowed on a jfk forum. the topic shold be at least somewhat directly related to the assassination, coverup, key players etc. it is a big stretch to tie in crowley to the jfk killing. it is this reason why my involvement has decreased over the past few months. these posts discredit what this forum represents and does nothing to promote future use by those who might visit this forum in hopes of finding quality information about november 22, 1963. sorry paul, but i think those posts belong elsewhere.
