A Marlin rifle?

Post by Brian White »

James Files says that Chuck Nicoletti used a Marlin
semi-automatic rifle in Dallas. I'm not aware of Marlin
making a semi-auto at that time,except possibly
a .22 rimfire,which seems a little light for a job
of this magnitude-they're more famous for lever-
action deer rifles. Is he sure about the details,-
or does he mean a Johnson semi-auto? (that
name is sure ironic, huh?) I know that
Marlin made some Johnson rifles under license
that may have had the Marlin name on them.
Maybe Bruce Brychek could ask Files about this?
What's the difference? Just for the record,if
nothing else.
Thanks,Brian.
