Bruce,Do we know who managed possession of the launch codes during JFK assassination. Seems this would have been a point of interest to the Joint Chiefs who were itching to Nuke it out with USSR (and a bunch of other first launch targets). We don't seem to know much about how the Joint Chiefs may have participated. Curtis LeMay may have been in Ontario Canada at a secret communications base. Interesting. He then quickly made it back to "preside" over the autopsy at Bethesda. Wonder what was going on and whose fingers were close to pressing. I bet that rabid dog General Thomas Power was screaming "Launch!"Where was the Football? Could the military have launched without it in those days?Bob
