The answer is “not much.” Although most conspiracy theorists might have you believe otherwise, the agency waited 24 years to release the documents for a reason, and that reason was precisely for the documents to lose all their political importance. The CIA still violated international law when trying to kill Castro; they still violated national law when going through private mail and wiretapping journalists with no authorization and they still violated all morality and common sense when associating with mob bosses. But, honestly, so what? Castro and Cuba have only a tiny fraction of the importance they had at the time, the mob bosses of the time are probably dead and the illegal wiretappings, well, these still happen, but the people don't seem to care about them today, let alone about some decades-old civil rights violations. The facts unveiled by the reports won't change anything today, inside or outside the CIA.
