Cruz did leave the building with the students, this girl apparently was with him until she walked in another direction and then she heard more gunshots. Not sure how accurate her account of hearing shots in other parts of the building was. It was glossed over and she was smiling for the camera. Another student said there was a second shooter who was also a kid who came into her classroom.
