Body of unidentified woman found in Juarez

A young woman was found raped and killed in West-Central Juárez today in a way reminiscent of the sexual murders of the 1990s, Juárez police said.
The woman, whose identity was not released, was found at about 7:10 a.m. by residents in a bush on Donato Guerra and Abedul streets, west of the Juárez cathedral, police said. The woman was 20 to 23 years old and appeared to have been dead six hours. She was nude and had been raped multiple times. The cause of death was a blow to the head, an autopsy found. Police believe she was killed elsewhere and her body dumped on the street. Over 100 young women were raped, killed and dumped in Juárez during a decade that started in 1993. The mostly-unsolved murders seemed to have abated.

Correction: Over 400 young women have been killed in Juarez and 4000 missing women which more likely than not means 4000 dead.....
