A few days ago I got into a discussion with my Mother In Law about the JFK assassination...she and the rest of her Blue Haired Mafia keep telling me I'm wrong about JFK being shot on live TV....they all saw it...I told her and the other old folks at her senior apartment that there is no way they saw Kennedy's assassination live...they insist....I told them it wasn't released to the American public until Geraldo Riveras show in March of 75...one of the elders of God's waiting room told me to go to the local college and look it up...enough said.

The Blue Haired Mafia is alive and well in FLA that's for sure. Funny thing though with my dad. He's 83, but still has jet black hair...almost Ronald Reagan like. I have also gotten my dad to move away from the dark side. He used to be a FOX news guy all the time and Bill O'Reilly was his favorite show at one time. Now...he never misses Countdown with Keith Olbermann. Plus, besides my constant prodding about the JFK assassination, as some of you know, Russ Baker sent my dad an autographed copy of Family of Secrets, just before my dad's major surgery a few months ago (he's doing very well now). The other day he told me after reading a portion of the book..."That Poppy was a real bastard!" My response was..."The apple didn't fall far from the tree when it came to Dumbya." Speaking of Dumbya, my dad voted for him TWICE, plus Poppy twice as well (that was BEFORE he knew any better). In fact, my dad voted Republican in every election except 1944, when he voted for FDR, when dad was in the Navy in WWII. However, in 2008, even though John McCain was a Navy veteran, dad voted for Barack Obama. Dad has come a long way, but his next lesson will be tough to teach. I'm sure he has NEVER heard of the Bilderbergers and secret societies!

I had a similar discussion with some old bags myself. I kept telling them that it was Oswald who was shot on live TV and not JFK. They didn't believe me. Then one of them broke wind, and another one of them exclaimed "The phone's ringing!!!!" Seriously though, I've had that discussion with the elderly too, and I think they're confusing Oswald with JFK.

The late Buddy Hackett had a great line about getting old. He said, "I take Viagra just so I don't piss on my shoes."

No need to fight those elderly, who think they are leaders, because the world leads itself sufficiently.
