I'm sure most of you have seen this film, but this film is the mother lode of all conspiracy movies. The film was released in 1991 and I think Oliver Stone got the essence of the conspiracy and assassination correct.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3GlGaZP ... re=related

Bob I have "JFK" the director's cut on DVD which has additional 17 minutes not shown at theaters when released in 1991. That additional 17 minutes deals with the Carson interview. Also there is the bonus DVD "Beyond JFK: The Question Of Conspiracy which is an excellent documentary.

I think I saw the Johnny Carson scene once on You Tube or somewhere. I'm going to look again.

I remember thinking when On the Trail of the Assassins first came out that it would make a great movie, and it surely did. I too think Stone demonstrated a pretty clear and insightful understanding of the assassination, and that he treated Garrison fairly.One thing bothered me about the book though, and perhaps one of you can help me out on this-A man, I think named Miller, arranges for a meeting with Garrison and not-too-subtly offers Garrison an appointment as a federal judge in exchange for calling off the investigation. Why didn't Garrison arrest that guy? Does anyone else remember this?

Did you see the guy's Annapolis ring?" he continued. I had not noticed it. Sciambra shook his head. "Well, they offered you the carrot, and you turned it down." He paused for emphasis. "You know what's coming next, don't you?"No mention of arresting him, or whether he considered it.

Thanks Katisha.But why didn't Garrison consider arresting him? Or pursuing him? Seems he had a direct line to the wizards and said "Go away." That just seems very odd to me.
