Dr Earl Rose was the Medical Examiner and Coroner of Dallas County on 22 November 1963. He was involved in an unseemly struggle with SS agents over the body of President Kennedy in the corridor of Parkland Hospital shortly after the President's death. He maintained, correctly, that by law the autopsy on the President should take place in Dallas, where he died. Rose was physically overwhelmed by SS agents and members of Kennedy's staff who insisted on taking their President's body back to Washington.Dr Rose conducted the autopsies of J D Tippit, Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby.Dr Rose has died aged 85.http://www.dallasnews.com/incoming/2012 ... t-dies.ece
