Lamplighter Motel

Post by Larry Daniels »

Wim,

Have you or Zack Shelton ever checked out The Lamplighter Motel in Dallas, to see if by chance they still have the guest registers from 1963?

The Lamplighter Motel is still in business, and is exactly where Mr. Files stated, on the east side of Dallas, almost in the Mesquite city limits.

It would be most interesting if the guest registers were still available, to see if someone checked in using the name of Sutton or Files, or whatever other name that Mr. Files may have used, when he checked in.

Why doesn't someone contact them and see if they still have the logs? There is still a small chance that they still have the logs and it would be very interesting if they did. If so someone should take them if this ever does go out into thw world as more proof.

Yes we did check it. There are no logs, and the current owner was not very cooperative.
