Bobby and J. Edgar

Journalist and historian Burton Hersh has followed the Kennedy family for more than 35 years. His latest book is a study of the behind-the-scenes power struggles among the Kennedys and longtime FBI director J. Edgar Hoover.

Hersh writes that as attorney general, Robert F. Kennedy did his best to keep Hoover — technically his subordinate — on a short leash. But knowledge of Kennedy family secrets gave Hoover, always a master manipulator, the upper hand.

Hersh's book is titled Bobby and J. Edgar: The Historic Face-Off Between the Kennedys and J. Edgar Hoover that Transformed America.

+++++++++
He's in agreement with Files, but never mentions him (but does mention Giancana as the major perpetrator of JFK murder, along with Marcello, Lansky, Trafficante.).

Dear Mr. Ken Murray:Ken - Thank You, excellent , Wizard of the Links. I will study these carefully over the weekend. I was hoping that somebody would help with this subject matter that I have great interest in. As always, you never cease to amaze me. I'm nowhere as good as you, but the more active researchers and writers that we have, the better. If two (2) heads are better than one, what about 20, or 30, or more rowing together ?This is exactly why I research and study older material in the JFK Forum, because newer, more dedicated members such as yourself can make outstanding contributions that benefit us all.Comments ?Respectfully,Bruce Patrick Brychek.
