From the mouths of our mortal enemies, enemies that we were mere moments away from nuclear war with, comes the most basic of explanations. Then a highly respected media mouth-piece, for the country that is the king of propaganda, explains it away as Russian propaganda! Keep in mind they had just as much to lose with JFK gone as the US did. Who was to say that every accomplishment of peace between the two countries was completely up in the air. LBJ was one of the very people the Soviet was talking about ... and he was surrounded by even more. Yet they did not hold back their critical view of the obvious truth.

I think the initial Soviet reaction to JFK's assassination was very astute. Walter Cronkite in my opinion was one of the few in the MSM at that time that tried to tell the truth. Yes, he labeled the Soviet response as propaganda, but we were still in the heart of the Cold War. Also remember, that Prescott Bu$h was one of the founders of CBS News. Cronkite was choked up when he gave word of JFK's death on CBS and he also had a great interview with JFK just a couple of months before the assassination. JFK basically tells Cronkite, that the U.S. is not going to escalate the war in Nam any further. Also, look at the graphic during the interview. There were about 16,000 troops/advisors in Nam under JFK at that time, and only 82 troops had died. By 1965, LBJ had over 500,000 troops in Nam, and by the time the war ended, over 58,000 troops had died. So Vietnam played a key part in JFK's assassination. That's a great clip. Such an obvious,simple truth(that security was pulled off deliberately) and Cronkite blew it off like it was BS.Cronkite is a New World Order globalist from way back.
