Re: OPERATION ZIPPER:
That's all good and well, Bob. I'm a fence-sitter when it comes to the Oswald press-photo and a resemblance of Phillips. The fact is -- it doesn't matter whether Phillips was in Dallas or not. We've got second-hand remembrance from Shaun Phillips that James asked David if the latter was there, and th...

Re: OPERATION ZIPPER:
Not specifically, Wim, but the account and e-mail from the nephew and rock-star substantiates what I'd heard from Martin Shackelford some five or more years ago.Shackelford -- who had provided testimony to the ARRB [Assassination Records Review Board] during the 1990s -- told me that someone else ha...

Re: OPERATION ZIPPER:
Thanks, CristophMessner -- for bringing us back to this.My point here -- anyone can correct me, but I can resurrect the "Regicide" book to refresh about the particulars -- is this.Phillips' "Night Watch" was published in 1977. The first recognition of those pages about the Anacon...

Yes -- Nagell. That story -- I believe. Dick Russell, "The Man Who Knew Too Much." I couldn't find anything to controvert in that book. And, in fact, he recounts an interview with a Col. Bishop -- formerly of Fort Benning (?) or wherever "School of the Americas" had been located....

Re: OPERATION ZIPPER:
Still waiting for Wim's answer. But let's "cut to the chase." One big reason I came back to this forum-site: somehow, I'd happened to do a web-search on my name, and a link brought me to this "Operation Zipper" thread. Wim had posted those two pages about the Anaconda in the zipp...

Re: OPERATION ZIPPER:
That is -- for me -- harder to identify as Phillips. It is possible -- knowing little else about your photo -- that it is. And believe, at times, Phillips wore glassesThis is a picture of Phillips from that period:

Re: OPERATION ZIPPER:
[Comment: that photo of Oswald that seems to display a likeness of Phillips is stunning. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. But it sure looks like the Dave Phillips of 1963.]Here's my continuation:At the same time, speculation and theorizing about the assassination of JFK has been and will continue to be ...

Re: OPERATION ZIPPER:
Hello, Forum participants on the "Operation Zipper" thread.Wim -- how are you?First, let me say it had been several years since I tapped into this forum last. My research and literary plans for this topic have been on a "back-burner." Part of the reason: there are probably about ...
