Only later does he realize he's been duped, and talks more openly about his role and who's to blame. Ruby too was a "patsy". The big-wigs of the Dallas PD were criminal at the least. You don't want people to actualy hear what Lee is going to say. You don't record him, tap the phone, for the most important figure in media! You can't find a camera or recorder with all the media swarming everywhere? NO! you make scribbled notes. You upscale Lee to blur Dealey. You know, Bugliosi did exacly that to the Manson family. Helter Skelter is so full of lies too! The fact that the Dallas Police denied knowing Ruby, is CONSPIRACY!

ruby was a real smooth operator and a smart business man. any cop that came in his joint got free drinks and food. i am sure they got freebies with the dancers too. ruby knew that if the cops thought he was ok, then he wouldn't get hassled and could draw on a favor once in a while. the dallas pd downplayed the number of officers that had been in his club. 75 percent of them were regulars. ruby also kept out the bikers and rough crowd. you would be surprised at the number of womenat came there with their men. you don't see that in a strip joint nowadays. how about it bob, do you take your wife to the nudie bar and let her tuck bucks? I just found the video very interesting because of Curry calling Ruby by his real name (as if he wasn't sure) and Wade's responce to the reporter wondering if he was friends with Ruby. Facial expressions and body language say it all. I think the only way to study these old clips, is to understand those aspects, they can say many things. I'm not understanding the Dallas PD distancing themselves from Ruby. Are they covering up in embarrasment for the killing of Lee? Are they instructed? Really, a bunch of bubba's involved in conspiracy? Well, maybe a few higher-ups, but not everyone. Is the denial of Ruby a seperate conspiracy from Jack's assassintation?
