Truck ID

Post by ThomZajac »

I'm hoping you guys can help me with something. I went looking for a photo but have come up empty, so I don't have the reference I'd like, but I think many of you will know what I am talking about...Just off of Houston Street, facing Houston Street, perhaps in an alley, perhaps on the non-motorcade portion of Elm, in the background of the "Milteer' photo is a truck- looks much a like a moving truck. I've read some assertions that this was the communications truck used in the assassination, but I've just realized that I've never heard an official explanation.Does anyone know anything about it?

ThomDon Roberdeau's Dealey Plaza Map shows two "tall commercial trucks" on Elm, and a "truck" in the alley between the County Court and County Records Buildings on Houston.http://imgcash2.imageshack.us/img160/76 ... 6.gifWhile searching on this I encountered another rich Roberdeau resource:http://droberdeau.blogspot.com/2009/08/ ... 9.htmlMany excellent photos, diagrams, analyses and videos.

Phil,This DRoberdeau diagram took my breath away. I need to buy this guy a drink sometime. A note. B-1 and B-2 as described by Lee Bowers. Just to the right of B-2 is a large drain, about 5 ft in length and four feet deep. Make sure you kneel on that drain when next in Dallas. Thanks for the Mary Ferrel- RFK tips as well. "One expects an evil prick, be it shiv or syringe. Truth being hated by evil. " Your poetry digs deep in my mind. www.jfkcia.com

Great links- many thanks.Seems like we don't know much about those trucks. Any chance of a license plate ID?Were they legally parked? Were other vehicles parked nearby? Is there anyone who qualifies as an expert on this subject?

I recall Wesley frazier saying that when he and Lee arrived at work there werenews media all over the place. Do you think some of these trucks could have beenmedia trucks?
