The Stemmons Freeway Sign:
07.21.2015Dear JFK Murder Solved Forum Members and Readers:07.29.2013 - I originally Posted this Specific Headline.Ken Murray and Bob Fox Posted some interesting facts and information. But this discussion never fullydeveloped on many of the several aspects of this Subject Matter that I thought that it might. There was sufficient facts and information in the past that I thought raised this to the level of deservingmore discussion.I raised several possibilities and probabilities that could/might connect some other facts and theories.07.20.2015 - Bob Jonas raised a significant question about how could a sniper, especially most likely shootingwith a scope, hit the Big Stemmons Freeway Sign ?The answer is much more simple than you may realize if you have NEVER TRACKED A MOVING TARGET THROUGHA SCOPE.It is possible that a sniper was tracking JFK through the scope. Some snipers keep only one (1) eye open. Somesnipers keep both eyes open intermittently.A sniper tracking JFK through his scope could have "lost sight or lost track" of where the Stemmons Freeway Signfor a mere fraction of a second. That's all it takes.Bob Jonas that was not the central point of the discussion that I was trying to generate. I was more focused on the overall failure to:1. Ignore apparent/possible gunshots directed toward JFK that possibly/probably hit the Stemmons Freeway Sign.2. Why there is an almost a Virtual Black Out to the Box Car of Explosives that the three (3) tramps were in, or near, and at least somewhat consistent with a Sniper's Possible Vantage Problem ?Any additional analyses, interviews, investigations, readings, research, studies, thoughts, or writings on any aspectof this Subject Matter ?Bear in min that we are tryig to attract and educate a Whole New Generation of JFK Researcher's who may not beas well versed as you.Comments ?Respectfully,BB.

I'm willing to bet that a shooter on a job like this would be well aware ahead of time of any possible obstructions that will come into the line of fire before he goes to fire like James Files. For that reason alone is why I always dismissed the theory that the sign was hit. Same with a shooter firing through the front windshield of the limo to hit JFK.
Re: The Stemmons Freeway Sign:
The boxcar and having a bunch of shady characters on scene could have been their way of having multiple patsies to pick from if something went off script. Suppose Oswald had stepped outside and watched the president go by and showed up in a few photos, then they would have to choose someone else like Harrelson or Holt take the fall. Intriguing to speculate about.

Same with a shooter firing through the front windshield of the limo to hit JFK.We do have evidence for missed shots however and not knowing exactly from what angle and precisely from where those shots were fired, nor at what range their rifles were sighted-in for, we do not know how far-out these attempts were from a hit. Nor is it beyond the realm of reason for a shooter to have fired from a position differing from that originally intended, even though you rightly suggest that a pro hitman should have been thorough in their preparation and execution. We are dealing with Known Unknowns if you will forgive the expression. As a comical aside however, perhaps one or more of these shooters used cheap, badly maintained Italian Manlicher Carcano's rifles, coupled with cheap, mis-aligned, side-mounted scopes - they could have badly missed from near-point-blank-rage!
