(N.B.no previous political experience necessary/seen as an advantage.)Your take is spot on regarding another party, JD. That is exactly what the U.S. needs. A viable third-party alternative. The voters in both the Republican and Democratic primaries showed how disgusted they are with the status quo of each party in 2016. The nomination of The Donald proves that for the Republicans, while it took an inside job from the DNC to stop Bernie Sanders from winning the Democratic nomination. Speaking of Sanders, I believe had he run as an Independent after it was proven how the DNC had done everything in their power to stop his nomination, I think he would have had a decent shot at becoming President vs. Trump and Hillary. Both have very high negative views from the electorate. Trump is over 70 percent, while Hillary is at 65 percent. Sanders would have won the overwhelming majority of the young vote for one thing. It was the demographic which helped Barry win in both 2008 and 2012. Bottom line, both the Republican and Democratic parties are corrupt. Both are controlled by lobbyists from Big Banking, Big War, Big Oil, Big Pharma and other entities in the corporate world. Bottom line, the U.S. electorate proved in 2016 that they are screaming for a new brand of politics.

For a third party candidate to have any chance of winning, they would have to start campaigning long before the next general election. And being in Congress already would be a plus. The lone wolf, outsider voice that nobody has heard of is never going to work. I think that someone with Trump's energy (albeit more channeled and controlled) would be ideal. No sleepy Kerry, Biden, or Romney types will do. The only reason Trump has any traction at all is because he is not like the typical politician. Especially when you stack him up against the yawning brand of candidates that the Republicans have wheeled out there the past 20 years (H.W.Bush, Dole, W.Bush, McCain, Romney, etc.). They act like they are afraid of being accused of not being politically correct by the left. This paralyzes them. He or she would have to be able to reach into both sides of the political spectrum and not pander to the hard right or left. That mentality is only dividing our country more than ever. I would say that one would have to begin working on a grass-roots campaign for the 2020 election within a year of the upcoming election. Otherwise, they will meet the same fate as Ross Perot - an interesting and entertaining alternative with no real traction.

There is only one choice as a third party candidate and he wants to be "ELECTED". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTIGU6s1llw

Isis is an offshoot of Al Qaeda, which definitely was created by the CIA in the 1980s, when Ronny and Poppy armed and funded Osama in his fight against the Soviets in Afghanistan.

Much of the Media is saying that it's all over already. (But don't forget Truman vs. Dewey in 1948)What is Trump really up to? There is an old maxim for Republican candidates to 'go as far to the right as you dare in the Primaries to reach the soul of the party and then race to the centre in the election itself to win the country'. Having gone further to the right in the Primaries than any other candidate, he did the first bit correctly, but instead of turning to the centre he has carried on going further right, even alienating your normal, everyday conservative republican voter in an apparent attempt to win the nut-job vote. All Killery has to do is to say and do nothing at this stage - Trump is delivering votes for her with everything he does. So was this the plan all along? - Destabilise the Republican party in the Primaries and guarantee Clinton the Whitehouse thereafter? It's not a slam-dunk, but Trump's campaign makes little other sense at present.

This election will go down as the dirtiest and sleaziest in U.S. history. Now that the Donald has brought in both Roger Ailes (formerly of FOX News) and Stephen Bannon (Breitbart) to help his floundering campaign, the real shit is about to hit the fan. Plus, Hillary has proven in the past that she is very capable of using gutter-like tactics when attacking her opponent.Ailes doesn't exactly have a sparkling reputation now, especially after being forced out of FOX because of several sexual harassment charges. But he was one of the architects of Poppy Bush's campaign in 1988, which was also losing at this point of the campaign to Michael Dukakis. Ailes played a major role in the Willie Horton ad back then, which turned the tide back to Poppy. Bannon meanwhile, throws just about anything outrageous against the wall and hope that it sticks. At least that's been his modus operandi at Breitbart.Hillary can play the sleaze game very effectively. She did it when she ran against Barry in 2008 and she did it again this year versus Bernie.Bottom line, the "fun" is about to begin.
