Oil
JD, I think it is not a "fossil fuel," that its control is similar to that of diamonds and gold. That developing our own supply would mean more freedom than the Saudis and their white harem would allow. The Prince paid Obama's way to Harvard, and where is Murdoch headquartered. They own people in "power." And have since Jack Philby, Allen Dulles, and King Ibn Saud were Los Tres Amigos.

Yes...ALL the "drill baby drill" people are suddenly mute. At least the Gulf will already be warm when hurricane season comes.

"False flag"
JoeDo you think the oil spill could have been a black flag or sabotage operation by the environmentalist to drive us into further controls and higher prices?Gee, will Obama forbid the Chinese and Hugo Chavez, and Russia and Fidel Castro from drilling in the Gulf of Mexico? The Saudi Prince paid for the Kenyan boy-king's Harvard; Hillary's Saudi agent of influence was Huma Abedin; Bill flacks for Dubai. The day before Earth Day.What's Eric Holder doing down there? SWAT teams? And those Chinese carbon credits? Bogus--meanwhile Al Gore buys a nine-million-dollar property. The peons are being peed on.

endangered vacations...Whatever it is that happens in VegasWhat could possibly happen to Vegas (that hasn't already happened in Vegas)? This one might be a little overly apocalyptic for some, but step back for a minute and you'll remember that Las Vegas is built smack in the middle of the desert. It exists because the Colorado River has been dammed, diverted, and directed to flow into Lake Mead and other reservoirs, so that the dry Southwest can bloom beyond its natural limits. But for how long? The flow of the Colorado River is already strained, the remnants of its abundant water flow disputed across the western U.S. Add a sprawling population, demanding drinking water and green lawns and farm-fresh produce, and the dwindling snowpack that feeds the river -- thanks to global warming -- and Las Vegas could face serious strains soon. Lake Mead, which supplies 90% of the city’s drinking water, could be dry by 2021 according to one study.Vegas being what it is, the loss of water might not be a death knell. There is, after all, alcohol. Might be better to plan your visit before 2021 all the same.http://green.yahoo.com/blog/daily_green ... tions.html

Tornado outbreak kills at least 5 in Oklahoma tonight.Luckily we had no Damage to our property here but just North of us there was extensive damageSundowner Arena (associated with Sundowner trailers) a large indoor Equestrian Sporting Arena was totally destroyed. My avatar was taken inside that Arena that covers about 5 acres under roof.If any of you watched the Amazing Race this week the Arena is just a few miles south of where the Cowboy brothers live.I am sure there is other serious damage to peoples homes and property close to us here.
