Has anyone watched the movie by Oliver Stone?It's long but has some interesting stuff, Hunt, Sturgis ect.who was the political adviser on this?I still don't understand why all these recordings were made?

I have watched the movie. It may have been 15 years ago, but I remember walking away having enjoyed it a bit. Now that you mention it, I may have to revisit the movie and refresh myself on what Stone had to say. I know JFK and LBJ both taped their meetings, etc. Nixon probably just followed suit. Though knowing Nixon, the man probably taped everything to insure he had the goods on someone should they say something incriminating. The man was a bit paranoid.
