You could try sending him a letter, it looks like he doesn't want to have new pen pals, but you never know. No internet in prison.

If I wrote a letter to Files I would not do so trying to get more info. out of him as that is probably not going to happen unless you are the right person to do; I understand he converted to Christianity and has tried to make his peace before he meets his Maker. So I would just try to send him a friendly letter as life is pretty lonely in prison and he probably looks forward to his family visits and occasional letters but not curiosity seekers.Would he want to tell you anything about DeMohrenshildt? I pretty much doubt it. Files said his memory was a lot sharper in the 90s. Basically he is determined not to tell secrets about any living human being, a well known death certainty for those in the MOB who squeal. Personally I see a huge difference between those who turn in others to get time off a sentence and money and those who divulge facts for the good of the country and history. We have had a ton of disinfo. in this field that just creates endless confusion and pain and division even among honest friends. Christopher Hitchens for example had a permanent rift when he divulged inside knowledge on how Clinton had sent a scarer after Kathleen Willey and sought to discredit Lewinsky as a stalker; he had inside knowledge and by bringing it out Hitchens lost a friend. Some people lose far more through honesty.

Thanks Tom for that reply. Very interesting insight on Mr. Files. And great guess of what my question to him would be about ...LOL...You are very much right I am very curious if Files every had known George de Mohrenschildt or had ever been aware of his involvement with the Central Intelligence Agency ? And de Mohrenschildt is very much dead so just maybe Files could add something to our research and contention that he did have a part in the pre planning of the Kennedy assassination as Oltmans had brought out from him. I can assure Mr. Files that I would never use anything he passes on to me concerning de Mohrenschildt publicly . Our only goal would be to get another conformation that YES George de Mohrenschildt did have involvement.

You could write him, Tommy, he would probably respond to a down to earth sort of letter. He didn't like the slick Oliver Stone so didn't give him the time of day. He is not after money. There are many, many questions still unanswered, so experts here have just had to make educated guesses until further proof comes out.He said that Nicoletti gave him some original documents on the Dallas hit which he destroyed. Also he said he got his diary. If that were to be produced, it would help.

Thanks again Tom.The letter is written and will posted Monday morning.I am no Oliver Stone that's for sure so just maybe Mr. Files will reply to my 2 questions !!If he does and confirms our beliefs that George de Mohrenschildt did have involvement in the setting up of a patsy to take the fall for the whole operation it will indeed be a major plus for our project !!!!!

What I would do is ask why george was killed and why nickoletti was killed on the same day. What were they trying to keep secret 14 years later and who did the killings cia mob?He might just answer that question out of anger that his friend nickoletti was killed.

Well Slav that would be a very interesting line of questions.What I am going to try to do is to garner some trust first.I don't want to come on like gang busters to this man. I will start off with 2 questions and hope he answers those. And if so I am hoping to create a open dialog with him.I have no ideal even if this will work at all .But it hurts nothing to try. I will keep the Forum members informed of what happens..My letter to Files will be in Monday mornings out going mail ....

Good luck hope it works out, I wanted to write him several time but I figured he must get a lot of letters and would not answer I have to many questions and hope one day that he will tell it all, I wonder if he knows that Hunt died and gave a death bed confession ? It seems like he didn't want to talk about hunt, maybe he doesn't know about the confession. I find it hard to believe he is a born again Christian when people convert they will ask for forgiveness and confess there sins openly and ask for forgiveness, I would like files to speak more since he knows so much.I guess only Bruce probably knows more I hope someone speaks.And where the heck is Bruce I miss reading his post.
