Dr. Ralph Greenlee ....

Post by Tommy Wilkens »

While in The Netherlands researching Willem Oltmans private records we came across some notes that Oltmans had recorded on March 10,1967.On a flight from New York to Dallas to meet with Marguerite Oswald Oltmans becomes ill and once landing in Dallas he is taken by Taxi cab to Parkland Hospital. There he is attended to by Dr. Ralph Greenlee. After being examined and diagnosed and released Dr. Greenlee asks Oltmans to accompany him out for the evening and for dinner.Oltmans tells how the two men lounged together in an intimate fashion and he stayed the night with Greenlee until the early hours of the following morning.During there lengthy conversations that evening Dr. Greenlee confided in Oltmans that himself and many other doctors on the staff at Parkland Hospital were very much under the opinion that President Kennedy had indeed been shot from the front.Greenlee was not present when John Kennedy was brought into Parkland but had said it was common knowledge there at the hospital from one doctor to the next of what had been seen that day and all had told of frontal entry wounds.Oltmans also recorded that Dr. Greenlee had said that the local people of Dallas knew good and well that there indeed had been a conspiracy to murder Kennedy but out of fear to step forward had remained silent. Oltmans told how when the long night had finally ended and the romp was over Dr. Greenlee returned him to the Dallas Hilton Hotel in his red Ferrari sports car !!!!
