Thank you Slav and Ken,I think the Sixth Floor Museum needs to be exposed as a fraud.QUESTION: How and the museum operate as a non-profit 501(3)(c) tax exempt organization and also be owned by Dallas county? All of the SFM's tax filings since 2000 are in the name of the Dallas County Historical Foundation. This sole purpose of that organization is to operate the SFM. That organization is listed on the Dallas county website listing of "Boards, Committees, and Commission," with Nicola Langford, Director of the SFM listed as the contact person.Tax Exempt organizations are public organizations that cannot be owned or operated by anyone but themselves. When the government grants tax exempt status, there are strings attached. The central ideaI is the organization is public In exchange for not having to pay taxes on their income. The regulations on this state clearly that organizations cannot have outside owners. So how does the city or county of Dallas own the Sixth floor Museum? Something is not right.Do you know anything about this?
