By the way Wim, I understand Files doesn't wish to reveal the mans name,
and the family safety issues...

Is there any info that Files could give us about what was supposed to
go down Nov 22, with this mystery man? Was Tippet supposed to
shoot Oswald but he wavered and so "mystery Man" shot the cop?

Did Files know him from other "operations"?

Well, that's all in the 2003 DVD.

Files didn't even know the guy was in town untill he showed up at his motel after the assassination. He said he had to burn a cop , that got in the way of his assignment to kille Oswald. Yes Files and he knew each other from other operations.
