I know I'm rusty on this stuff, and getting old too, but I don't recall ever having heard of the Turner film before. Here's a Bob Harris video about it, and I'm very curious to know what all of you make of it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXWC87-WOKUCheers,Thom

Re: First Dealey Visit
Response to Bob's double bank with a kiss shot-Fair enough. Don't see it that way, but you make your points well, Mr. Bob. Now, about Mr. Rockefeller......

Re: First Dealey Visit
Two storm drains" one curbside on Elm about 25 feet in front of JFK at time of fatal head shot (Elm curves). The second is higher up, and further "back," closer to the triple overpass.

Re: First Dealey Visit
Thanks, Roberto, but I would like to point out that you are being selective in your citing of Douglas Horne on the matter of shots hitting JFK: namely, you disagree with his absolute certainty that the neck wound was one of entrance. Just saying. Still, I find this discussion interesting, and I real...

Re: First Dealey Visit
In response to the parlor game question of the entrance and exit wounds had the fatal shot come from the curbside storm drain; entry would have been slightly above the right eye, exit would have been the big blowout in the right rear. Note:JFK's head was leaning forward/downward at the time of impact.

Re: First Dealey Visit
(Parlor Game Continued)I would like to point out that Bob disagrees with Horne on a very key point: the throat wound, which Bob and Files Hook-Line-And-Sinkers believe to have been an exit wound (small piece of Files' frangible bullet). JFK's reaction to first being hit, they argue, is due to a shot...

Re: First Dealey Visit
Doug Horne is awesome. Love him.And I particularly like what he said about trying to determine precisely where the shots came from and what damage they caused. This isn't verbatim, but it went something like this.... "Once you have established that shots came from two different locations (direc...

Re: First Dealey Visit
Biggest problem for me about Files firing the fatal shot is that the blowout to JFK's skull was in the back RIGHT, as JFK appeared to be looking just about straight ahead at the moment of the impact. Of course, with the Zapruder film having been altered (there can no longer be any doubt about that f...

First Dealey Visit
As fate would have it, I had a four-hour layover in Dallas last week and was able- with the splendid help of Dallas native, Joseph M Landwermeyer- to check out Dealey Plaza for the very first time. Here is my report-To my surprise, Dealey Plaza looked almost exactly as I had imagined it, but there w...

Re: First Time Dallas Visit
Thanks, boys. I have heard that virtually everyone is surprised at how small Dealey Plaza is, the reason being the altered nature of the Zapruder film which makes the grassy center look like it goes on forever. Will report back-
